Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity
COTAD is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI), as well as addressing anti-racism and anti-oppression in the occupational therapy profession. Through student-led chapters across the country, COTAD inspires and empowers future clinicians to create meaningful change within their communities and the OT profession.
The Western New England University (91ÑÇÉ«) COTAD Chapter is committed to advancing JEDI principles within the 91ÑÇÉ« OT department and beyond. Our mission is to foster a culture of inclusion and awareness through educational initiatives, community outreach, and collaborative projects. We strive to equip students with the knowledge and tools needed to serve diverse populations effectively and become compassionate, culturally competent occupational therapy practitioners.
